A Better Bid is pleased to announce the launch of a scholarship program that will contribute to the automotive industry's development by investing in future innovators. The 2023 A Better Bid Annual College Scholarship program aids undergraduate students in advancing their S.T.E.M-related education with additional funding.
A Better Bid will award a $1,000 scholarship to a selected student applicant for use toward their degree, while two runners-up will each receive a $250 scholarship to assist in covering their textbook costs.
The scholarship program’s key initiatives include cultivating and empowering future S.T.E.M. leaders by supporting students in engineering and other S.T.E.M.-related fields.
To qualify for the 2023 A Better Bid Annual College Scholarship, applicants must be an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university and majoring in a S.T.E.M. or S.T.E.M.-related field. The scholarship application process includes uploading a college or university transcript and for the student to write a minimum of 500 characters about why they should be selected for the scholarship.
The application deadline is Tuesday, Aug. 15, and winners will be announced on Wednesday, Aug. 30.
S.T.E.M. fields include science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and extend to natural sciences, computer sciences, and their correlated fields. All of the fields that make up S.T.E.M. and correlate with it encompass the domains of research, innovation, and the development of new technologies that are needed in the automotive industry that A Better Bid is a part of.
