New World is a massively multiplayer open-world role-playing game developed by Amazon Games Orange County and published by Amazon Games released in September 2021. The game has been loved by millions and has already built a huge fan base and there are more people joining the game with every passing day.
While New World possesses a lot of features from other cult classic MMORPGs, there is just so much that New World does differently to push the limit of this genre and one such feature is the player-driven economy and ways to acquire it. Here is a guide to help you out in making money in New World.
5. Selling Mining Materials
One of the best ways that you could grab some quick money in the game is by selling items and specifically the mining material. It can get really tedious and boring walking around the same map just to farm some iron veins for mining materials.
However, it actually is a great technique to earn handsome amounts of money in the game. If you are willing to put in some work, you can sell iron ores, silver ores, and steel ingots on your server’s market. If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty and getting some grinding in your journey, this job is worth looking into.
4. Quests, Side Quests, and Town Projects
One of the best things you can do to make some quick New World coins, just follow the old-school quests and side quests. But don’t forget to keep an eye out on the Town Projects, they offer one of the best rewards for some pretty decent work that doesn’t even take long.
So you just don’t actually have to complicate things, you can always keep it simple and go with the game’s story, complete the main and side quests to make gold. You can also complete town projects and faction missions which reward you even better than the main storyline. It might feel a little tedious to keep up with all the quests at times but it is way simpler.
3. Expeditions
Once you reach level 25, a whole new chapter unravels for you in the game which is Expeditions. The world of expeditions can be very rewarding as you clear out dungeons full of enemies for elite gear and trinkets that you can sell for money.
Various high-tier weapons can be obtained from dungeons that you can choose to wield or just sell instead. These expeditions offer some of the wildest adventures, which are equally as rewarding. This is my personally my favourite way to earn in the game.
2. Selling Crafting Materials
No one would want to run kilometres through the map just for some simple crafting resources, you can make nice money off beginners who can't wait to progress by selling them all these materials at a trading post. You can collect basic materials fiber, stone, and wood in almost any area of the map. You can also gather supplies by fishing.
Supplies like fish oil are highly demanded by players wanting to increase their cooking experience. of course, you will have to put in some decent work and research to find the items that are worth targeting but once you do, you can make a decent profit out of it and you can even do it as a secondary job when you don’t have anything else to do.
1. Selling Bags
In MMORPGs, there is always a dire need for bags very early on for increased inventory space. Similarly, the items in New World have their specific weight and it is very easy to get over-encumbered in no time. Bags and Satchels are the best remedies for the problem and you can just craft and sell them to new players who don’t want to be bothered by the weight of items when they are playing.
You can start early on by hoarding up on leather, linen, and iron and levelling up your armouring skills. This sure is a bit of a hassle but definitely worth targeting if you need that extra cash to bag in.
