The city of Colorado Springs, Colorado is a Home Rule Municipality in El Paso County. The south-central Colorado city serves as the county seat also. It is situated within the southern portion of Colorado State. Colorado Springs is situated 65 miles or 106 km south of the City of Denver, which is the Colorado State Capitol.
