The city is located within Southern California in Orange County, with Los Angeles being 35 miles north and San Diego 90 miles south. It was named after Henry Huntington, a railroad entrepreneur, who initialized the improvement of the city.

The city is so stunning that a lot of popular songwriters and singers have referenced it in their songs.
