The city of Rancho Cucamonga is situated in San Bernardino County, and currently hosts a population of 177,736. Incorporated during the year 1977, the city was the product of the unification of communities of Etiwanda, Alta Loma and Cucamonga.

Within Rancho Cucamonga, the majority of the space is utilized for residential property. Then again, it is presently becoming a major hub for the logistic industry because of its proximity to the Ontario International Airport, and two interstate highways and a large portion of existing land on the southern side of the city.

Seven square miles worth of land is dedicated to some large distribution centers and smaller manufacturing companies within the area around Milliken Avenue. Around this area are several well-off office parks as well as a few shopping strips, comprising the Ontario Mills Mall and the Terra Vista Town Center. Tamco Steel, which operates the only steel mini-mill in California, is situated within the city as well. Junked cars and appliances are recycled to produce rebar in the mill.

There are several educational institutions within the city, comprising a couple of university satellite campuses, 4 high schools, a community college, 7 junior high schools, and 24 elementary schools. Within a thirty minute drive an additional twenty two public and private universities could be found.

In Rancho Cucamonga, there are numerous amenities offered for its residents. For athletes and sports enthusiasts, there is two challenging golf courses, an adult sports complex and a major baseball league stadium. There is also a performing arts center downtown, and thirty one parks littered throughout the city.

Rancho Cucamonga has been ranked as amongst the safest cities in the state and has halved its crime rate since 1993. There are six tactically situated fire stations in the city which keep fire and emergency response teams ready to serve always.
