Concord is amongst the fastest growing countries in the San Francisco Bay Area. Roughly 13% of the Contra Costa County population, represented by the population in Concord. The central location to surrounding communities as well as its copious population makes Concord a great place for businesses to locate. It provides an educated personnel as well as a huge customer base.

The location of Concord provides great access for residents to San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Sacramento, and Napa Valley. The Immediate Bay Area offers a large selection of activities and scenic routes and the warm weather encourages residents to enjoy the scenic attractions throughout Northern California.

The major attraction in downtown Concord is Todos Santos Plaza. This area is popular for its farmers market, various restaurants, and free summer concerts. To be able to take advantage of the public transportation as well as the wonderful area around the park, the city has just redeveloped the downtown area, adding new condominium and apartment projects. Regrettably, this has not entirely solved the crime and homelessness matters in the downtown area.
