Orangeville is considered to be the cultural capital of Dufferin County. It hosts numerous annual events, comprising the popular Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival. The Orangeville Theater, located in the Town Hall, plays host to lots of entertaining contests yearly. It is well-known for the outstanding performances of its actors. Because of an investment from the Canada-Ontario Infrastructure Program, Orangeville has built a multi-use recreational facility. The Conservation Area comprises walking trails, mature forest, meadows, and large lakes, while its newly-built Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail is created for nature study, bicycling, hiking, cross-country skiing and walking.
