Established in February 2007 by members of the class of Commerce 1981 and awarded on the basis of academic achievement to full-time students entering first year of the Commerce program at Queen's University.  The candidates will have completed their secondary education in a publicly funded high school. The scholarship will be awarded in the following order of preference:  (i) to students who are the first generation in their families to attend a post-secondary institution; (ii) who have had paid or unpaid work in their last two years of high school; (iii) to students who are disabled, Indigenous or visible minority candidates. This scholarship will be renewable for three years provided that in the first year the student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the Bachelor of Commerce Program. In each subsequent year the student must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 in the Bachelor of Commerce Program.

Duration Renewable for 3 subsequent years (4 years total) provided a GPA of 3.0 is achieved in a full course load in the Bachelor of Commerce program in first year and a GPA of 3.5 is achieved in each subsequent year in a full course load in the Bachelor of Commerce program.
