Wolf Scholars is a transformative scholarship program designed to develop Canada's next generation of thoughtful builders, innovators, and leaders.
Each year, 16 exceptional incoming undergraduates across the University of Toronto's Faculty of Arts & Science will form a tight-knit cohort. Wolf Scholars will join a four-year enrichment program centered on developing their critical thinking skills, emotional intelligence, resilience, and creativity for life.
Beyond funded travel and leadership development experiences, Scholars will receive a full tuition scholarship and a meaningful living stipend.
Wolf Scholars is a launchpad inspired by renowned liberal arts programs worldwide. We're building a future where your curiosity, character and ambition - not only your degree - enables you to drive impact across sectors.
What we're looking for
There is no ‘one type’ of Wolf Scholar. We are committed to building an exceptional community of scholars who bring a broad range of perspectives and backgrounds to the program.

When you set goals, you follow through with drive, hard work, collaboration, and an open mind. You face challenges with optimism and resilience.
Exceptional Character
You act with humility, honesty, and empathy. You are self-aware and understand how your actions and words impact others. You uplift and empower those around you. You make the most of every opportunity and you have a desire to create meaningful impact, locally and globally.
Curiosity and Intellectual Engagement
You ask thoughtful questions and strive to understand the wider world. You actively seek out new ideas, experiences, and perspectives. The academic rigour and intellectual depth required of the Wolf Scholars program excites you. You are keen to contribute positively to and learn from your Wolf Scholars peers and the broader U of T community.
