The Truth, Justice, and Fairness Scholarship welcomes applications from undergraduate and graduate students at any United States accredited college, university, or graduate school.
Students must specifically complete a two-to-three-minute video answering the scholarship’s video prompt, then upload the video as unlisted media on a YouTube account. The firm expects students to include a link to their video with their complete application form when applying for the Truth, Justice, and Fairness scholarship.
Scholarship Video Topic
Siegfried and Jensen invites students to consider how they intend to use a law degree to help communities in need. Students creating videos must critically examine how they can impact the current personal injury law system and how their experience can help protect maligned communities.
Students’ videos need to be between two and three minutes in length. They can edit their videos using any creative media editing software, including Adobe Creative Cloud. Likewise, students can use AI to generate B-roll footage for their videos.
However, using AI to create an entire video, script, stand-in applicants, or voice modulation techniques will automatically disqualify the user from the applicant pool.
Best Practices for Video Creation
We recommend that students record their videos in well-lit and insulated rooms to preserve visual and audio quality. We also ask that applicants include the following information at the start of their video:
- Their full name
- The name of the scholarship they’re applying for
- Necessary credits, including media libraries and professional resources
Students should also credit any media editing tools they use to make their videos at the end of their production. All videos must be titled and shared with Siegfried and Jensen before the scholarship application deadline passes.
Application Deadline
Students have until June 30, 2026, to complete their videos and submit all application materials to Siegfried and Jensen. Unfortunately, the firm cannot consider applications submitted after the application deadline passes. Likewise, the scholarship selection committee will not award its scholarship to anyone who submits an incomplete application.
The scholarship selection committee reserves up to three months to select a winner from its applicant pool. The team asks that neither students nor their parents reach out to Siegfried and Jensen for updates on the status of a student’s scholarship during this timeframe. The team will only communicate with its scholarship winner.
Again, students must submit complete applications by June 30, 2026. Please do not contact the firm and request to submit an application late. Communications about the Truth, Justice, and Fairness scholarship will go unanswered.
