VSTONE General Scholarship Book Awards

Students in their 4th year of veterinary school are eligible to be VSTONE Scholars. This $5,000 scholarship is awarded based on merit. The student’s academic success and demonstration of a strong desire to improve the quality of veterinary medicine in New England will be considered.

To apply for this scholarship, the student must submit:

• General VSTONE Scholarship Application,
• Two references, one from a faculty member of their veterinary school and one from a New England veterinarian,
• Transcripts from their first, second, and third years of veterinary school, and
• Essay, “How I will impact the quality of veterinary medicine in New England.”
• Essays should be typed and 500-1000 words.
• Applicants must be enrolled in a program in the USA, Canada, or USA territories.

They must be received by February 1 of the year in which scholarship funds are being requested (i.e., deadline is February 1, 2023, for 2023 spring scholarship awards)
