DWI Tom is offering a $2,500 “What We Can Do to Prevent People From Driving Intoxicated in Our Communities?” Scholarship to rising and current college students. Students can submit essays between 500 and 1,000 words to the firm’s scholarship selection committee for a chance to win the firm’s financial support.

DWI Tom hopes that this scholarship encourages incoming and current college students to think critically about the dangers of drinking and driving. The firm intends to judge incoming scholarship essays on a student’s creativity and research as well as their suggestions’ actionability.

Students have until December 15, 2024, to submit their essays and other application materials through DWI Tom’s website. The firm cannot answer questions about the scholarship at this time but instead directs students and their parents toward the firm’s scholarship page for more information.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

DWI Tom opens its “What We Can Do to Prevent People From Driving Intoxicated in Our Communities?” Scholarship to undergraduates and graduate students who:

  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Are enrolled in or accepted at an accredited college, university, or graduate school in the United States
  • Agree to the scholarship terms and conditions
  • Submit the necessary application materials, including the aforementioned essay, proof of GPA, and proof of enrollment or acceptance

Students who want to apply for the “What We Can Do to Prevent People From Driving Intoxicated in Our Communities?” Scholarship need to read through the scholarship’s eligibility requirements before writing an essay on the scholarship’s essay topic.

Once a student drafts and revises their essay, they can:

  • Fill out the application form on this page
  • Upload a copy of your unofficial transcript
  • Upload a copy of your scholarship essay
  • Submit proof of enrollment/acceptance to an accredited college/university/graduate school (Student ID, letter of acceptance, etc.)
