The Rocco C. Caffarelli Scholarship was created in honor of Mr. Rocco C. Caffarelli – a successful entrepreneur whose wholesale grocery business served stores throughout the South Texas region. The scholarship provides educational opportunities for young men residing in Texas with plans to attend a Texas college/university in pursuit of a bachelor's degree.
Eligibility:
- Young man residing in Texas
- Enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student
- Attending a Texas college, university, or seminary with the intent to major in one of the following fields of study: education, science, religion, business, music, applied arts or sciences
- Financial assistance need
- Person of sound mental capacity, good moral character and ideals
- Earned a minimum 3.2 GPA out of a 4.0 GPA scale
