                    The United States Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation will award $1500 or $2000 scholarship grants to graduating high school seniors who will continue their education at an accredited post-secondary college or university. Scholarships of $1000 will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who will attend an accredited vocational, technical or trade school program.
The number of grants awarded annually is at the discretion of the Foundation and must be used for educational expenses in the first year of full-time study following high school graduation. Checks awarded will be made out in the name of the recipient and will be paid directly to the educational institution of the recipient’s choice.
Eligibility:
- Graduating high school seniors in the United States, who reside in a state that has an active JCI Senate program and a scholarship chairperson.
- Check www.usjcisenate.org under the scholarship tab for a listing of participating states. If your state is not listed, you are not eligible to apply.
- STUDENTS MUST HAVE A GPA OF 3.75 AND ABOVE TO BE CONSIDERED.
- You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this scholarship.
This package contains information and directions to apply for the United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship Program. Scholarship grants in amounts of $1,500 or $2000 will be awarded to graduating high school seniors in the United States, who plan to continue their education at an accredited post-secondary college or university within the United States. Fifty (50) grants will be awarded to 2026 graduates by the United States JCI Senate Foundation. Scholarships must be used for tuition in the first year of full-time study immediately following high school graduation. Checks will be made out in the name of the recipient and will be paid directly to the chosen college/university.
Instructions for the US JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship Application
- The submission preference will be in a MICROSOFT WORD COMPATABLE FORMAT. The application must be typed in black ink. Print using single-sided sheets of paper.
- ON EACH PAGE OF THE APPLICATION PACKAGE, NEATLY HAND PRINT YOUR NAME AND THE PAGE NUMBER (in ink) AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER.  Begin with the checklist as page 1, the photo page is 2, then continue to number the application and all attachments in the correct order. If reference letters or transcripts are submitted in sealed envelopes, number the envelopes for proper placement and the chairman will insert them. Staple all pages together in the upper left corner.
- Each student must have an active, working e-mail address listed.
- All materials MUST be submitted in one mailing.
- Your application will be evaluated by individuals outside of your area. Do not use acronyms for clubs, events, awards, etc. If the name is not self-explanatory, include a description. Examples: REACH should include a description such as: Oak City REACH Program to feed the homeless, or J. Smith Award for Top Female Tennis Player.
- NO ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED AND MAILED BY JANUARY 12, 2026
